Well written but may cause problems for a British audience.

This a well written thriller surrounding the disappearance of child and relates the course of events leading up to this as well as looking at the consequences for the remaining family members. The book starts with the 15th anniversary of the disappearance and a phone call from a girl claiming to be the child that disappeared.

There is a good range of characters described in the pages leading up to the disappearance and a good description of the difficult relationship between the eldest child and her sister who subsequently disappeared.

It captured my attention and I wanted to read on to see how the story develops.

My major worry for this book is that it is a British release of an American book and for me I am not sure how it will be received in the UK as it bears a close resemblance to the events of Madeleine McCann's disappearance.
