I enjoyed this book although initially I was put off by the similarities to the disappearance of Maddie McCann. The story is told in the present and in flashback. A family of 4 go on holiday to celebrate a tenth wedding anniversary. The babysitter let's them down so the parents leave the children alone in the room and go downstairs for a celebration meal. The restaurant is just underneath the room. On their return the parents find the baby missing.
In the present day a girl rings up claiming to be the long lost daughter. The rest of the mover revolves around whether the girl is who she claims to be.
I enjoyed this well written novel. I have read and enjoyed previous Joy Fielding novels and would recommend it.
