The book, She's not there, was about a women called Caroline Shipley who had two daughters. One was called Michelle and she was always annoying her. The other was called Samantha and she disappeared when the family was on holiday when she was two. Her disappearance completely destroys the family and this is shown by the story being half in the present tense where you see how the family is now and how badly Caroline is being treated by the news and in the past where it shows you there reactions when Samantha first disappeared. The main part of the book is when Caroline gets a phone call from a girl named Lili who has supposedly seen a report on her missing child and believes that she is Caroline lost daughter but what really happened to Samantha.
