This is a brilliant read and brave too. The author has bravely taken on writing a story about a couple who leave their children in their hotel room on holiday to eat with friends only to have their daughter kidnapped......
Then years later a young lady calls saying she thinks she might be the missing toddler.
As the story jumps between the present (15 years later) and the past we learn how the media tore the poor Mum to pieces, judging her every move, which the reader learns has affected every aspect of her life almost as much as losing her daughter.
The last quarter of this book had me reeling, I don’t want to give too much away but let’s just say I despise the grandmother immensely! A read book I would most certainly recommend.
