Quite literally, I couldn’t put it down and finished this book in under 3 hours!
Mirroring real events, the story centres around a family who lose a child while vacationing in a foreign country and 15 years later, a girl claiming to be that child returns.
From the very start you’re trying to work out who took the child and why, reading about exceptionally likeable and realistic characters, each with their own flaws and motivations; new evidence from the night of the disappearance changing the game and throwing everything out of sync; and you’re desperate for an answer as to whether the young girl is in fact who she suspects herself to be!
It’s been a while since I literally couldn’t put down a book; a definite must read!
