I wasn't sure why the first impression started on page 43 and wondered what had happened previously, but I enjoyed the following pages anyway!
The chapter with Amos tending to his sheep was full of imagery and you could really feel yourself there on the hillside amongst the seasons.
It's not clear how all the characters link together but seems like a very readable story.
