I love historical fiction and have been reading lots set around WWII recently so this novel is perfect for me. I did wonder why the First Impression begins with Chapter Five (what happens beforehand??) but it was a good introduction, if a little dry and info heavy. I loved the scene at the dance and that makes me think that once the story gets going this could be a great book.
