I liked the cover- hints of people looking through windows to other lives/the world outside.
I thought it started slowly, with too much description, then it flowed more naturally in the dance scene, with a twist at the end of the chapter.
I am intrigued by what the first few chapters that are not provided will be about & am interested to find out more about the Women's Timber Corps.
