What can I say, these Shiver Point books are brilliant.
As somebody who loved the Goosebumps and Point Horror books growing up, Shiver Point is a lovely reminder of the books I relished as a kid.
Just on the right side of scary for children, I think most would love reading about the adventures of Riley and her friends. This time they're on the hunt for spooky scarecrows, who are raging through their town!
These books are well written, atmospheric and champion the importance of friendship too. In an age of electronics, these books are ideal to pull them away from their phone or tablet. Who doesn't want to go on a spooky adventure in Shiver Point!
I'm looking forward to more in this series, and kind of wish I could go on some adventures too!
As with the previous book, the cover artwork is lovely and really engaging. I'd definitely be moved to take this one off the bookshelf!
