My boy and I really enjoyed the first book in the series and was over the moon when we received the second book in the series Shiver Point by Gabriel Dylan. The cover is very engaging and fits the story perfectly. I read it together with my boy and he enjoyed every second of it altho he found it spooky at times especially when the scarecrow attacks the shiver squad in the school and at the farm . The book is very well written and easy for kids to read, understand and follow the plot. The map of the city is a very nice addition and helps to imagine the town a lot easier . It would of been a very nice addition if there were illustrations in the book that would of helped my boy to imagine the characters and plot better but nevertheless both of us enjoyed the book very much and already looking forward to book 3 in the series. I would highly recommend this book if your child likes spooky stories .
