The cover is very good, with the five young folk staring up and pointing at the descending light in the sky - drawing you into the book. The names f people and places are very descriptive, like Howlmoor Forest. It is very well written and rattles along at a great rate. The heros are living in a dull small seaside town (like living before Netflix or YouTube!!) There are nice twists, like wishing he had gone to the toilet before leaving home to search for the strange object from space. The characters are great - all distinctly different but not extremely so. They are easily identified as you read through the book, which makes it easy to follow. I like it!
