Feel like I've read something like this before...

This was a fun first impression to read, and I think it is a fun book for younger readers. There is something familiar about it, but I'm sure that because I'm older than the target audience, and I've probably read something like it in the dim and distant past!
I like the cover, it gives the right sort of eerie vibe.
