Middle grade is my favourite and I love a good spooky book. Shiver Point sounds like a perfectly creepy town, complete with an eerie forest. Alex seems lonely and a bit neglected by his mother who has to work too many hours. So when he thinks he's seen a meteorite fall, he sees his chance to find something valuable to help his family. I am so intrigued to find out what it was he and the other kids actually discovered. What could have been glowing like that and making the terrifying screaming sounds?
