I liked the start to this. The story immediately set a chilling, spooky scene that had me feeling as though something ominous was about to happen. I’m liking the character Alex already. I loved reading Shivers and Goosebumps as a child and this reminds me of an updated version. I might be an adult now but I’ll never be too old for a mystery book like this.
