This is definitely going on the reading list for my class at school! I can already see that Shiver Point will be a firm favourite and can't wait to see what is lurking in the woods.
I also like the writing style; humour and realistic family or school situations that my own pupils will be able to relate to. I can already see that they will learn a lot from the characters about working with and accepting others who may be different to themselves. However, they will also enjoy the adventure along the way.
The book cover, like the names of the places in the book, conjures a feeling of spookiness just enough to intrigue and get the adrenal going in younger readers.
