I very much enjoyed this book. It had elements of Goosebumps books in, which I loved when I was younger. I am a librarian in a high school and I love reading books that might attract some of our younger readers. The setting of Shiver Point was intriguing and was a great setting for the story to unfold. It was the right level of creepy and curiosity to keep me reading until the very end. The people of Shiver Point are acting strangely, with tins of cat food going missing. The story follows a group of youngsters who are working together to solve the mystery. The characters are likeable and make an interesting team. I would recommend this to any youngster who likes a bit of a creepy read and to watch a mystery unfold. I look forward to reading the next one.
