I have to say, when I picked up this book to begin with, I was dubious about it's ability to creep myself or the pre teens in my class out, but I was wrong to doubt it.
As a child I remember reading goosebumps and watching the TV series and being utterly mesmerized by my first glimpse of horror and spooky goings on. I could see that same sense of excitable dread on the faces of the children as we read deeper into the story.
Since finishing the book, as a class we have really struggled to find anything that has the same brilliant grab of attention for do many of the children at exactly the same time. Will be looking into this author in the future and hunting down more of their young adult fiction in the hope it will provide the same level of awesome!
