It is about almost teens, a group of them that don’t really make friends for all different reasons. Alex had been learning about meteorites in school and his teacher said if found it may be worth a lot of money. He had had to move away from his old home and friends and his mum is having to work through the night as a nurse so he is on his own with the nextdoor neighbour listening out for him.
One night he was playing on his skateboard when he see lights in the sky, it was like something he had never seen before, he thought if he followed it, it may be a meteorite and get enough money to move but the nearer to Howlmoor Forest he got the more scared he became.
What is it that is going on and whatever it is, could it be the thing that made him friends?
I quite enjoyed it though far above the reading age, I would think that the age set is about right.
