Alex was plunged into an unknown world by his mother very begrudgingly. He does not want to make friends with anyone and keeps himself isolated. Friends are forced upon him as they navigate a communally unknown situation of the meteorite. A stranger things like book suitable for younger readers but because of the similarity’s also very suitable for older readers. I enjoyed the suspenseful plot but also the quick moving storyline. I loved the characters and how their personalities were so different but they formed a strong bond and friendship. There were character developments and plot twists as expected in a book but particularly original in this one. Although aimed towards younger readers I did enjoy the story and the creepy vibe that came with it, I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it as a quick read to enjoy.
