An exciting story for young readers (I would say years 3-6, depending on reading level) with mysterious falling objects, the promise of alien encounters and fun antics with a group of friends.

It’s got a little bit of tension / suspense, but no worse than a Point Horror story (Teeth… all the better to eat you with”)

The language is age-appropriate and the characters speak to each other in a way which should resonate with the target audience (“Duh… dude!”)

There’s a map illustration which is nice to see, personally I rarely tend to look at the other than a passing glance when I start the book, but it’s good to have for those who enjoy an illustration or want to get a better grasp of the small town surroundings.

Seeing as kids these days are watching things like Wednesday and Stranger Things this mild-level terror shouldn’t be a problem for most late primary / early secondary kids.
