First book in the series Kim Stone, a heartwarming and generous woman, who suffered a lot in her youth. Detective Kim Stone and his team are trying hard to find the criminal responsible for appalling crimes. These crimes bring back some difficult memories for her, but her team is in solidarity with her.
For a first novel it is successful: the plot holds the road, the characters are interesting and the suspense at the rendezvous. We may regret here or there a "layer" of unnecessary complication that does not add much to the story. Furthermore, the style of writing is sometimes a little bit too simplist to me, with unnessecary repetitions. I am however looking forward to the following novel by this author, and can recommend this book, as long as you don't have too much expectations for it.
