First of all, let me say how I loved the cover, it was very apt for the books story line.

How I loved DI Kim Stone, I found her focused, dedicated, harsh for good reasons at times and a quirky sense of humor at times which came out now and again in her working relationships with ones she had to rub alongside of.

What first appeared to be a sort of straight forward case lead into deeper and darker minefields which I loved.

Each person that was attached to the case was very real in my minds eye, so too when more were extended on as the field widened for the killer.

DI Kim Stone seems to not care or concern herself as to how people perceive her, what she DOES care about are her victims, and finding out the TRUTH.

This is a story of VERY DARK SECRETS where only a handful of people knew. Secrets have a way of coming out though, maybe not soon, but sooner than later, and this is what is revealing and unraveling in this wonderful thriller that Angela Marsons has written and orchestrated. I use the work "orchestrated" because like a good tune being played by a band it has to have good timing, good acoustics to name but a few things and ALL parts have to play they're individual part to make up a good piece of music for us all to enjoy, so to with this thriller, everyone played their part, and the CLIMAX was brilliant, absolutely BRILLIANT.

This author has a good clear pathway into the Thriller Genre along with some top rated best sellers.

I will definitely be stalking her, keeping a close eye on her books. I can't wait to read her next book when it comes out because this was very VERY good, can you top it Angela? *wink*
