Love the Kim stone series.

I'm stone is no ordinary detective, she was brought up in the care system and hates to be close to anyone. She's an unique detective and when she starts finding bones, and body's that trace back to a children's care home. She is determine to fine out what has happened and catch the killer for a long over due punishment. In order for her to full focus on this investigation, she has to confront her past. Her mother's in a mental institution after she chained Kim and her twin brother mikey to a radiator and left them for days before they were finally found. Kim blames herself because her twin brother died and there was nothing she could do to help him, even thought she herself was only a child.

Racked with guilt Kim is determine to find out what happen and get justice for all the souls.

The Kim stone series is a great read. You end up willing for Kim to be happy and stop blaming herself for what happened in her past. I would highly recommend this series.
