It's the first book I had from Angela Marsons and the DI Kim Stone series that made me go read all of the other books. It's a really good thriller, that isnt boring in the first bit where they try and find out what happened because there's always another mystery on the go and the ending in the series are never predictable either! I found the plot to be a bit more unique than other thrillers I've read because it isn't your standard murder and 'whodunnit' but a clever plot.
There's some character development across the books as well so I would recommend starting with the first book but it's fine as a read on its own as well.
This one is a bit darker compared the first book it's well written none the less and avoids typical cliches, really excited for the next book of here to be out so that I can finish reading the whole series and put the collection on my bookshelf!
