The opening starts with Anna (main character) as she recovers from an horrific car accident which resulted in the death of two of her work colleagues and serious injury to another. Anna struggles to cope with the guilt of the accident even though it was not her fault. She relocates to a remote Scottish island to try and rebuild her life and cope with the grief. But her past looks like it is about to catch up with her as a group of visitors book in to the hotel she works at. A real page turner with plenty of twists. Highly recommended.
