To escape her past, Anna takes a job at a hotel on the remote Scottish island of Rum, but when seven guests join her, what started as a retreat from the world turns into a deadly nightmare. I really enjoyed this book and how fast paced it was. I really enjoyed having all of the characters have different personalities and how the dynamics of the personalities mixed and acted around each other.
I really enjoyed Anna as a character because she was so determined and wanted to help and please everyone, she barely got any rest. I also loved how she decided that she needed a break and moved all by herself to a small island knowing nobody, I find that really courageous and just really cool.
I’m not going to spoil the ending all I’m going to say is that I enjoyed it and it gave me a deeper insight to why the person behaved the way they did.
