I have read quite a few of C.L Taylor's books and I have never been disappointed. Sleep was no exception. I loved the "escape room" concept of characters being stuck on a remote island in a horrendous storm with no way to get off it or contact the outside world and there being a stalker come murderer trapped on the island with them.

From the outset I was pulled in, the character Anna had an intriguing back story like many she was trying to escape her past by taking a job at a hotel on the remote Scottish island of Rum. Seven guests join her for the weekend and what starts as a retreat from the outside world turns into a deadly nightmare.

This book kept me guessing the whole way through and very often I was gasping and on the edge of my seat. It was creepy and atmospheric and another great read!
