Why would Anna be writing a note to anyone who might read it when she is dead? What will happen to her? Who are the other people she names, and how are they connected to her?Already I want to know if she will meet a tragic end... She starts by telling a brief story of how she came to be in a car on the motorway with three other people and how they were involved in an horrific life-changing event. She is a very real person. It's as if she is actually talking to the reader. I can feel her emotions and understand how her life must feel out of control. At the end of the first 30 pages I am drawn in to the story and need to read more...
