Well why did I leave this one sitting on my TBR for so long? I had such high expectations for this book with being a huge C.L.Taylor fan alongside seeing such high praise constantly on Bookstagram. ⠀

What a tense and paranoid read it was. ⠀

C.L.Taylor has given us another psychological thriller that will keep you up until the early hours reading and in fear.⠀

Following the story of Anna swamped with guilt over a car accident, who relocates to an isolated Scottish Island taking a job in the only hotel in order to escape her past. But is she really free of her past or has it followed her there? ⠀

Certainly not after reading this book that's for sure. My brain was in overdrive attempting to work out the culprits. I had a theory on every single character by the end of the book. All of them completely wrong. ⠀

Atmospheric, outright creepy and twisted. Thriller lovers rejoice. This is an absolute must read. I read this book within 24 hours and you will see why. Suspense levels in the book are a solid 10/10.
