With her relationship suffering and her life going into free fall she decides to up sticks and find a job in a hotel on the remote island of Rum in Scotland.
When a new group of guests arrive at the hotel strange things begin to happen which transports Anna back to the anxious feelings she has tried to leave behind.
Each guest has their own secrets and the complexities of their characters slowly unwind as the story progresses.
The authors fantastic storytelling had me gripped throughout the book. I felt like I was a guest myself at the hotel. Experiencing every twist and surprise personally.
The end of the book with its final twist was brilliant . I will be looking out for more C L Taylor books as I enjoyed this one so much .
