Sleep tells the story of Anna. Anna was involved in a car accident on the way home from a work event. She was driving with colleagues and unfortunately, two of her colleagues were killed in the accident and another colleague, along with Anna, were seriously injured. Upon her return home from the hospital, Anna decides to call quits on her relationship with Alex and make a fresh start. Anna takes a job at the derelict island in Scotland at hotel rum. Several other guests check themselves in a couple of weeks later, and things gradually start to go wrong. Anna fears someone is after her as she was the driver in the accident and things keep happening around the hotel and Anna fears for her life
This book was such a good book. I really enjoyed it. When I was reading it, rain was pouring and bouncing on the window and it just added to the vibe of the book. The short chapters and telling the story from different perspectives just made me want to read more and more
The book was full of suspense and even though the author dropped a few hints of who the culprit was, I genuinely did not guess it
