This book had me hook, line and sinker. I could really feel the pain Anna was going through bleed through the pages to me. The paranoia she felt that someone was watching her in her home continued to draw me in. I wanted to reach into the book and slap the boyfriend for his lack of empathy and support for her when she was going through such an ordeal. Her escape to the remote island could not have come soon enough for her, she finally seemed to have found some peace to allow her to process her past and gain healing. However this was short lived when the watcher appeared to have followed her. The suspense and build up as she tried to work out who the person was amongst the guests and the collective group paranoia of these people all remotely trapped within the hotel was gripping. The book gave me full on Agatha Christie vibes.
