I gave the book four stars because I quite enjoyed it. I found it was very gripping from the first chapter and I found it hard to put down. it's a great mystery/thriller book with twists and turns throughout the book. the writing is very well crafted and was fast paced. I very much enjoyed the authors style of writing and recommend this book, I will probably look into her others works. as far as plot goes I really enjoyed it and think the author crafted it very well so it wasn't a boring read, thrillers can sometimes be dragged out and boring but I found this was very good. my only concern is the book was a little hard to understand at times, there are many characters each with deap stories so I had to go back a couple times to stay on track but once you get the hang of it, it is a great read and I would definitely recommend. I remember seeing this book in my local book store and picking it up because I found the cover appealing. 8/10.
