This chilling and suspenseful novel, races along at a pace which keeps you totally hooked, you don't get a lot of sleep until the last page is reached!
After being involved in an accident, Anna struggles to sleep and is haunted by what happened. Determine to escape her nightmares she applies for a job in a hotel on a remote Scottish island. She is accepted for the position and sets out for a new start hoping to leave her terrors and guilty feelings behind. The guests arrive for a hiking holiday, but alas the weather turns from bad to worse and they have to stay in. It soon comes to light that one of the guests is not there for a holiday but is out to get Anna, but which one? Anna has to keep all of her wits about her to work out which one is the killer.
I thought this was a terrific read, I was so engrossed in the plot that I had the book finished in just over 24 hours. It really is one of those books that you just can't put down. It keeps you guessing all the way through and then a little bit of a twist at the end. Brilliant!
