Seven guests. Seven secrets. One killer. Do you dare to sleep?

I'd read quite a lot of hype about this book and was really excited to read it. The story follows the character of Anna, a girl who seeks out a job in the most remote place she can find, a little B&B on a small Scottish island. Anna is clearly trying to escape something from her past, and I liked the way you learn more about Anna and what might have happened to make her this way as the book progresses.

Anna and the other employees are soon joined by seven guests, each of which seem to be hiding something. When the guests become trapped on the island it becomes clear that one of them is hiding a deadly secret, and in order to save her life Anna needs to find out who fast.

I thought the premise of this was very similar to Lucy Foley's The Hunting Party, with guests being stuck in an isolated location with a killer on the loose. At some point you find yourself suspecting each of them, so the actual reveal still comes as a bit of a suprise. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it.
