"Sleep" by C L Taylor is my kind of book. It's a fairly fast-paced psychological thriller, which kept me guessing right until the end.
The story revolves around Anna, the driver of a car which is involved in an accident on the M25 in which two of her work colleagues are killed, and a third is seriously injured. Once she recovers from the accident, and riddled with guilt, Anna resigns from her job and takes herself off to work in an hotel on the Scottish island of Rum. Seven guests are booked in for a walking holiday, and each of the guests is hiding a secret. It soon becomes apparent that one of them means to harm Anna.
This is a page-turner of a novel, which I enjoyed very much. It's full of twists and turns, with a few red herrings thrown in too, and thoroughly recommended.
