I got this book as a Christmas present from my wife because she knows that I love Murder Mysteries and this book ticked all the boxes for me. It was a classic whodunnit with lots of twists and turns in the plot and left you guessing until the end of the story to find out who the psychopathic killer was and why they wanted to kill Anna.

Anna’s character was well researched and made you feel sorry for her and to hope that she would survive the murderous intension of the guests in the hotel that she had gone to after recovering from a horrific car accident that had killed her friends and severely injured another one. Because she blamed herself for the accident even though it wasn’t her fault she was suffering from nightmares and insomnia and had left her boyfriend and escaped to the island of Rum to try to rebuild her life not knowing that a killer had followed her there to kill her to avenge one of the victims of the accident. I will definitely be buying more of C. L. Taylor’s books as I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
