I have read a few books by this author before and was not disappointed. From the first chapter you know you are in for a ride when you read this phrase ' if you are reading this. Than i am no longer alive'. You think wow where am i gonna be taken in this story.
Anna is on her way back from a team building event when her car is involved in an accident 2 of her passengers don't make it, and one is seriously hurt, anna then struggles to put her life back together she cant sleep, work or do anything getting out of bed is a struggle. So gradually her relationship breaks down.
Anna moves back to her parents and spots the perfect job in rum a remote island in Scotland working in a hotel. After 10 days working here a group of 7 guests arrive
Malcom his wife Melanie and their niece Katie, Trevor, Joe, Fiona and Christine.
What Anna doesn't realise is that one of these guests knows the reason she has moved to the island and wants to help put her mind at rest once and for all.
Really enjoyable read it's very descriptive and keeps you fully gripped from that first chapter to the very end of the book. I did not see who the killer was coming. Very good read.
Can't wait for her next book.
