A real life experience of a psychologically abusive relationship.

The synopsis intrigued me largely because I have not read any true crime books featuring a psychologically abusive relationship before. Reading the first impression felt like such a personal experience and like I was a fly on the wall, observing the inner workings of a marriage. Knowing it’s not fiction gives the writing real power and although I expect the book will make me angry for Carolyn, I think it’s an important book with a story that needs to be heard widely.
