I feel intrigued and confused, horrified and entertained. This story describes some acutely embarrassing scenes, socially embarrassing. Contrived scenarios and play-acting seem part and parcel of a relationship with this man. Personally, I'd have run a mile. But reading about a fictional experience is absorbing. The cover shows an almost hypnotised stare.
