I didn’t get very far with this, I struggled due to starting on chapter 5, I had no idea why she was in Bath or who many of the characters were. When we met Mark he was disgusting to her friends and family and I have no idea why she was with someone like this and why she didn’t question his behaviour. Perhaps if I’d started this at the beginning I might have got on with it better but what I read was far fetched and hard to comprehend.
