As an avid reader of physiological thrillers, I really thought this would be up my street and I'm not wrong. Just from that small snippet I have read, I can tell Mark is twisted and liked manipulating people to think he is the big all that. The extent of his manipulation is a little worrying at first glance, controlling who the main character speaks to, how she speaks to them, distancing her from her family and making sure she lives alone is worrying. I'm not going to lie though, just from that snippet I can see the main character getting depression pretty bad from isolation! I want to see what happens next!
