Firstly I love that it's based on a true story!! This makes it so much more wicked!!
I found it interesting how Marks character managed to alienate Carolyn from her friends and family so easily and More so how she let him do it! From this extract, you can clearly see how he's manipulating her!
As this extract is not from the beginning of the book I'd love to see what attracted Carolyn to Mark. From the small section I read he's positively awful with no redeeming qualities. I think it would be interesting to see what attracted her to him and that side of his character!
I’m intrigued to see the story unravel for Carolyn. What bizarre stories will Mark come up with next? And where does Paul fit into it all?
