This had me hooked after page 1. It shows how easily someone can take advantage of a susceptible intelligent person, by showing them 'love & affection'.
The poor lady must have been devastated by the time she realised what was happening, & it will probably take her a long time before she is able to trust anyone ever again.
I read the review in the Sunday Times yesterday, & immediately put this onto my book list.
