New genre of book for me.

Having read the first few pages it is chilling to think that the book is based on true facts and that everything you read has actually happened to somebody. I am not sure whether the fact the information is true makes it easier to read or turns me off reading it.

I think the book could take readers to a dark place and I would be interested in giving a book of the this genre a go.
