There is a lot going on at the start of this book. A house move, dinner party a woman is ill prepared for. A disappointment as a new boyfriend fails to turn up. We meet so many characters in the family and extended family. The new boyfriend, Mark, turns up the next day and is obnoxious to the guests. So far I can’t warm to these characters or the story, not for me.
