This was a frustrating read. It is clear that Mark is ‘a rum sort’ and up to no good from the offset but the narrator is completely blind to the screaming red flags which makes it impossible to empathise or see the story from her perspective! This may well be a true story but it doesn’t convince me that there is anything worth reading on for.
