Well I feel like I’ll be in the minority here but I really wasn’t sold by this first impression.
Mark was a horrible person; arrogant, rude, controlling and deceitful. Really not sure what Carolyn was doing with him and why she let him treat her family and friends like that! Maybe the book will go on to explain it but sadly I don’t think I’ll be finding out as this just didn’t do anything for me.
