Seems like most crime/thriller novels. Started off okay but the main protagonist does come across as very passive and uninteresting, the setting does not interest me much despite being familar and Mark is intentionally written as unlikeable but I'm still not compelled to read the rest. Cover was okay but I wouldn't personally display it.
