I watch a lot of true crime programmes and I’m sure I’ve heard about this man before.
I was very interested to read about the experience of someone close to him.
I don’t think the book started at the beginning but it still offered a good insight into her life. I felt so sorry for her as she tried to make sense of her partner’s erratic and sometimes cruel behaviour. Despite having nice, designer items, a beautiful big house, she became estranged from friends and family and felt so alone.
I would love to read the full story as it seems so interesting and is very readable.
I thought the cover was an odd choice, at first glance it looks more like an erotic novel or something rather than a true crime book. If I saw it in a shop I probably wouldn’t pick it up as I wouldn’t think it was a true story.
I’m glad I got the chance to read some of it as I’ll now be looking out for it!
